The one neck-deep in flight routes, resort photos, and dinner reservations, trying to make it all fit together just right. Somewhere Travel Co. became the outlet for that obsession with luxury travel planning.
These days, I help people who don't have the time to plan travel that truly matches the way they live. The ones who want it done right, without the stress or second-guessing. Whether it's a honeymoon, a big family trip, or a long-overdue getaway, my clients know I'm in it with them from start to finish. The sweet spot is 6–8 months out—that’s when availability, pricing, and perks all work in your favor. Three to six months is still doable, but last-minute trips may require a little flexibility (and occasionally a rush fee). The earlier you start, the smoother it all goes.
For bookings less than 60-days prior to departure, a fee surcharge will apply.
How early should I start planning my trip?
Once your form hits our inbox, we’ll send over our Welcome Guide so you have the full rundown. Then, we'll get a Discovery Call on the calendar so we can sit down, visit, and learn more about your goals for the trip.
We will also go over the full planning fee quote at that time.
What happens after I fill out the inquiry form?
There are many ways to work with Somewhere Travel Co.
Custom trip planning starts at $300, our VIP-level planning starts at $500 and Hotel-only bookings through our preferred partners have no fee—because we believe that the perks should come standard.
Does it cost to work with Somewhere Travel Co.?
The planning fee is due before design begins. Travel costs (flights, hotels, etc.) are paid directly to the suppliers once you’re ready to confirm your trip. All payment schedules, policies, and receipts live inside your travel portal and itinerary—simple, transparent, and easy to keep track of.
When do I pay to work with Somewhere Travel Co.?
Of course. Two rounds of refinements are included so we can fine-tune until it feels just right. Beyond that, we can always adjust as needed—this is travel, not concrete.
Once you've approved your itinerary, the flexibility of the itinerary will be subject to our partner's policies.
Can I tweak my itinerary after it’s built?
We've got people to take care of our people. You get to enjoy your vacation while we—along with our on-the-ground partners—jump into action. Flight delay? Lost bag? Room issue? We've got it handled so you don't have to step away from your pool chair.
What if something goes sideways during my trip?
Absolutely. We handle airfare when it’s part of your full itinerary. If you only need flights, we can book those separately for a small fee—just enough to keep the lights on and the upgrades flowing.
Are you able to book our airfare too?
Heck yeah. Whether it’s a multi-gen family getaway, a company incentive trip, or an executive retreat, we handle the moving parts so you don’t have to. Our goal? To make you look like a rockstar while we quietly run things behind the scenes. You get the credit; we’ll handle the chaos.
Do you plan group or corporate trips?
Somewhere Travel Co. has a widespread, national clientbase. While we are located in the Kansas City Metro, our clients hail from coast-to-coast.
We work with clients who have an affinity for luxury and upscale touches and value exclusive and unique experiences.
Who all are you able to work with?
Ah, great question. Since travel agencies are compensated by commission after a client completes their travels, we are unable to work directly with points and miles redemption.
However, we highly encourage our clients use their airline miles, for airfare as this is a great value for money! We're happy to advise on best routing, as well.
